                         Happy 5th Birthday
                  Furbabies Delectable Delights!
Furbabies Delectable Delights, all natural pet bakery, has reached a milestone!
Sept. 1st we celebrate 5 years in business!

Within those years we have provided all natural, human-grade ingredient dog treats to a vast number of dogs.

Human parents want great tasting dog treats that don't contain ingredients from China, artificial ingredients, preservatives, salt, by-products, or ingredients that are too complex to pronounce or identify for their canine kids.

This year, we were named the 2012 Chandler Chamber of Commerce Micro Business of the Year & we were also featured in the April edition of the Go Gilbert! Magazine.

Our business was started in 2007 when the issues started arising regarding tainted ingredients being used in certain dog foods & dog treats.

The main issue for company owner, Angela Riservato, a former chef, was to develop dog treats that were not only tasty but included only quality human-grade ingredients that were safe for dogs.

As an owner of three family dogs, ingredient safety is a big factor with her dog treats because having something that is supposed to be a treat that would in turn potentially harm the four legged members of her family would be totally devastating to her & her whole family.  She personally watches over every aspect of the business from receiving orders to packaging treats.

Furbabies Delectable Delights offers a wide variety of dog treats to satisfy all types of canines.  All of our treats have been sent out for testing & each package label contain a guaranteed analysis as well as an expiration date.

We bake wheat & wheat-free biscuit-type treats in many flavors, cake-type treats for those dogs who are getting on in age or have difficulty chewing the standard biscuit treat, pupcakes, which are bone-shaped cupcakes as well as all occasion cakes that are available in two sizes to help celebrate any special day in your furbaby's life!

Our newest offering, Kokomutts, are a wheat-free coconut-based treat that has gotten the "woof" of approval from many of our canine customers!

We also sell two different size treat gift baskets for the dog who has everything!

Our treats can be purchased via our web site
or from any one of the following stores across the valley:

Okay, we all live in Arizona because the weather is almost perfect, the sun is almost always shining, the golf courses are luscious, there are multiple and beautiful wide open spaces and endless hiking trails!

Surprisingly enough these are also places where some “not so delightful” inhabitants hang out in our state! You've heard the news this past week...... Snakes bites are on the rise!! Again!
Here are a few simple tips to help keep you safe.

If you hike:
 • Tap ahead of you with a walking stick before entering an area where you can't see your feet. Snakes will try to avoid you if given enough warning. • When hiking in an area known to have snakes, wear long pants and boots if possible
 • Consider purchasing a snake kit Avoid rock piles or tall green grass/bushes where snakes like to rest.

About 150 people in Arizona are bitten every year.
Some of Arizona’s rattlesnakes can also be lethal.

Scottsdale is notorious for having snakebites and s…

National Adopt a dog month

National Adopt a dog month  And National Adopt a Shelter dog month

Are you thinking about adopting a dog? Has the thought crossed your mind in the past few months? If so, that's great! This is the perfect month for you to get down to business and do just that!

You might be looking simply for a companion, maybe a hiking pal, a friend for your grandparents or parents, how about an agility hopeful, or just a happy, warm face to welcome you home each day? Then this might just be the perfect timing!

Across the valley there are numerous places that you can choose from to adopt a dog. Many Shelters are full and have weekend discounts so they can open up space for new dogs. Unfortunately some will be placed on the E-List almost immediately due to its breed, temperament or health.

A dog that is on the "E-List" (to be euthanized) is commonly a dog that might have growled when captured or put into a kennel, but it doesn't necessarily mean they are aggressive.

They were SCARED.
