Happy New Year pet parents!
Happy New Year pet parents!
I have a feeling it’s going to be an incredible 2013! We want to thank you for your continued support and making us your “Go-to” pet service network in the valley!
Our pet experts agree that 2012 was amazing!
We’ve all met so many wonderful new clients and their fur families! Thank you for entrusting our members with your precious pets!
We had some great things happen this past year. We started our Platinum Pets Club so that we could offer client appreciation savings to our clients. If you haven’t taken advantage of it yet, simply go to the right of this page and click on the “Platinum Pets Club” link. We appreciate you and want to give back to our pet parents!
We also added several new members to assist in your pet needs! Take a look through each of our pages to take a look at everyone’s businesses!
We attended Chandler’s Woofstock event once again as a group and as always, had such an incredible day! We met so many wonderful pet parents and pets! It was a great day! If you missed our video you can find it at our You Tube Channel, under my business name of Vetek Chic On Wheels (as we are one!) Just go to www.youtube.com/vetekchiconwheels. There is much more to see!
We have had a faithful following on Facebook and hope to continue to update you on important pet tips, new members and current members businesses and fun pet related pictures and video!
Our big goal as a group as you already know, is that you have a place to go to for all of your pet needs. A place where all members know and trust each other. We will never let a business we don’t know personally join us. We want to promote responsible pet ownership through our educational video tab and our front page articles. Keeping you up to date on all the latest pet activity. We also promote pet adoption! You may have seen our new Page dedicated to pet adoption. Our photographer, Jill Flynn has dedicated her time to photographing these beautiful souls and listing a new pet each week who is looking for its Fur-Ever home. Please take a look. Our Page is found at the top right hand side of this site. Adopt! Don’t shop!
Thank you again to each and every one of you! We had a great 2012 and are so appreciative of all of you! We look forward for being available for all of your pet needs in 2013! Happy New Year!

PET EXPERT TIP OF THE DAY
- Never, ever leave your dog in the car;
- Make sure your dog has unlimited access to fresh water;
- Make sure your dog has access to shade when outside;
- Take walks during the cooler hours of the day;
- When walking, try to stay off of hot surfaces (like asphalt) because it can burn your dog's paws;
- If you think it's hot outside, it's even hotter for your pet – make sure your pet has a means of cooling off;
- Keep your dog free of external parasites (fleas, ticks) and heartworms – consult your veterinarian about the best product for your pet;
- Consider clipping or shaving dogs with long coats, and apply sunscreen to your dog's skin if she or he has a thin coat.
PET EXPERT TIP OF THE DAY!
Household pet tip for dogs from Blue Ribbon K9 Academy:
Train your dog to use a pet door by putting a dab of butter on the bottom edge of the flap. Have another person hold the dog on the side with the butter and you stand on the other side with treats. Your dog will lick the bottom of the flap, pushing it open while you encourage it through and offering treats. Happy Training!
