Az Pet Professionals is one of the most
sought-after, professional pet expert, networking groups in Arizona! We work for all pet owners ensuring they receive the ultimate in pet care, products and services!

If you are looking for a pet service or pet business that you can trust and is referred by many, including valley veterinarians, then you've stopped at the right website!
Please look through our network's contact book below to see all of our current members.

Az Pet Professionals was founded in February of 2009 by Kim MacCrone, a Certified Veterinary Technician with more than 24 years in the veterinary field.

"As a small business owner and a Certified Veterinary Technician I knew it was important to know and trust any pet related businesses that I would refer friends, family and acquaintances to.
I am not comfortable referring a business that I don't know and trust.
I contacted like-minded people who owned a professional pet business or service and together we formed the Az Pet Professionals Network Group." Kim

Our common kinship brought about the collaboration of Az Pet Professionals and we continue to grow today, giving you access to some of the valley's most sought after pet experts and pet businesses.

Our Foundation and goal:

Our network group provides pet owners a place to hire a trusted and veterinary referred pet expert to care for your pets or provide you with upstanding pet products and other services. With multiple pet services on the Internet it is often confusing as to who you should hire. Anyone can make themselves and their website look great, but do you really know who you are hiring?
Are they Licensed, Insured and Educated about pet care or the products they sell?

Who Can Join?

As a private group not just anyone can join us. We are an invite only network group which means one of us has to already know and trust your business before you can join. There is a very important reason for this. Although it may sound harsh, we want only those who can live up to the high standards of care we've created through hard work and integrity. Each member has had to take and pass a rigorous written, question and answer test so that we are able to assess their pet knowledge and business ethics. Kim MacCrone created this test compiling parts of each fields expertise with the help of the members.
Pet Businesses wishing to join our network must meet the set standards of care we've set. If they do not pass, we offer to assist in any way that we can to help them achieve this goal so that they can become an Az Pet Professional.

We are open to speaking to any pet businesses that is interested in joining us Please feel free to contact Kim at if you think you've got what it takes to be an Az Pet Professional!

Responsible pet businesses take time to educate themselves to keep your pets safe while in their care!
All of our members are Licensed and Insured. This is not only responsible, it's the only way anyone should be doing business!

Most of our Members are Pet CPR and First Aid trained because we are firm believers that if you work with other people's' pets you should be educated on what to do if an accident or injury occurs while your pet is in their care.

Those members who are not currently certified in Pet CPR already have knowledge from previous certifications such as professional nursing and various veterinary professions. We encourage interviewing several of our provided pet experts when choosing services for your pet and choose the one who best fits your needs.

Okay, we all live in Arizona because the weather is almost perfect, the sun is almost always shining, the golf courses are luscious, there are multiple and beautiful wide open spaces and endless hiking trails!

Surprisingly enough these are also places where some “not so delightful” inhabitants hang out in our state! You've heard the news this past week...... Snakes bites are on the rise!! Again!
Here are a few simple tips to help keep you safe.

If you hike:
 • Tap ahead of you with a walking stick before entering an area where you can't see your feet. Snakes will try to avoid you if given enough warning. • When hiking in an area known to have snakes, wear long pants and boots if possible
 • Consider purchasing a snake kit Avoid rock piles or tall green grass/bushes where snakes like to rest.

About 150 people in Arizona are bitten every year.
Some of Arizona’s rattlesnakes can also be lethal.

Scottsdale is notorious for having snakebites and s…

National Adopt a dog month

National Adopt a dog month  And National Adopt a Shelter dog month

Are you thinking about adopting a dog? Has the thought crossed your mind in the past few months? If so, that's great! This is the perfect month for you to get down to business and do just that!

You might be looking simply for a companion, maybe a hiking pal, a friend for your grandparents or parents, how about an agility hopeful, or just a happy, warm face to welcome you home each day? Then this might just be the perfect timing!

Across the valley there are numerous places that you can choose from to adopt a dog. Many Shelters are full and have weekend discounts so they can open up space for new dogs. Unfortunately some will be placed on the E-List almost immediately due to its breed, temperament or health.

A dog that is on the "E-List" (to be euthanized) is commonly a dog that might have growled when captured or put into a kennel, but it doesn't necessarily mean they are aggressive.

They were SCARED.
